Microfiltration is a physical filtration method in which a fluid is passed
through a membrane with a certain porosity, with the aim of
separating microorganisms and suspended particles from the liquid,
solvent or gas subjected to the process. The membrane must be
positioned in a filtration system consisting of a funnel where the sample
is poured, a porous support that holds the membrane and a
collection system that receives the filtrate.
The apparatus can be simple glass or single or multiple position steel ramps.
We provide a wide range of membrane filters from various materials such as NC, MCE and PES.
The colour of the membranes is useful for highlighting the particles or microorganisms that
have been retained, the membranes can be white or black, simple or gridded.
